Meet KGP’s Associate Photographers

by | Jun 30, 2014 | Associate Photographers, Kate Giovinco Photography | 2 comments

As I anticipate the arrival of my little guy in October I have been preparing the studio for my absense. Well my partial abscense. I will still be here on a limited basis after the little guy arrives. I am taking a partial maternity leave. Meaning I will still be around to help with preparing your sessions as well as with your ordering process, but I am passing on the shooting to two amazing photographers. I have worked with Lindsay and Revee for some time now and they will be capturing your heirlooms to enjoy for years to come. They have signed on to work for KGP on a more regular basis starting in July. So if you book a session between October through January these amazing ladies will be photographing your sessions. They are also accepting clients before my leave and will be shooting throughout the summer as well. Now that we have expanded we will be running some exciting specials. Our first is for summer sessions. If you book a session during the month of July or August you will receive 25 complimentary custom designed holiday cards.* How amazing would it be to have your holiday cards done by September?

I have updated the website with information on the newest members of our team, but I wanted to also share the bios they wrote so you can learn a little bit more about thees amazing ladies.

Meet Revee:

At the core, I center my life around three things: faith, family and photography.
Faith – I live for Christ who forever saved me, ultimately striving to live out His Great Commission.
Family – It’s a whirlwind of love and adventure. here’s the short version. I married my best friend, Jules who I met through a missions trip in Senegal, Africa.  We are so thankful God brought us together so perfectly and love living life together.  Our daughter, Naomi, adds to our joy.  She provides us with constant entertainment and her infectious smile fills every place she goes.
Photography – Inspired by my mom’s photographic artistry, I began using her 1979 35mm Canon camera in high school capturing our family.  I further defined myself as an artist in college through classes and as JMU’s yearbook photography editor.  Even though I’m a financial professional by trade, I seek out every opportunity to dabble in photography, capturing timeless moments (weddings, engagements, family portraits, birthdays, etc).  There is something so amazing hitting pause through a camera and sharing images that are forever remembered at a much deeper level.

Meet Lindsay:

I started pursuing a career in photography after getting a Fine Art degree in painting. I was fascinated with the emotional pull that humans have in response to beauty: certain fleeting moments, when captured, can somehow distill a lifetime of experience into a moment of meaning. I previously used photography only as a means to help construct my paintings; now the photography itself is my chosen method of creating art. I can’t wait to capture your special moments. When I’m not shooting, I am usually pursuing some sort of adventure: I am an avid traveler, hiker, dancer, snowboarder, and language-learner.

It is a complete honor to add these ladies to the KGP team.

*The Fine Print: To qualify for our holiday card special Sessions must be booked by the end of July. Sessions can be scheduled from July 1st to August 31st.
