I got an email a few months ago from my best friend Devon in California. She had been looking for months for a simple picture of different fruits. She didn’t want busy just plain and bold. She asked if I could just photograph some fruit for her kitchen wall. I told her I would do it when I came to visit in January. So yesterday we headed to the store to buy different kinds of fruits. We ended up with Granny Smith Apples, Lemons, and some kind of orange/tangerine mix. Then we came home to her house and tried to find the perfect container and place to photograph them. We pulled out every serving dish and bowl. We finally decided on arrangement, size, etc. It took us hours. I am much better with people than fruit. I think they turned out nice and she is excited to get them printed and framed.
