Dev and I were supposed to have a girl date tonight. We got all dressed up and when we walked out of our rooms we both had black heals, blue jeans, and grey sweaters on. Totally unplanned, totally us. We have been friends since we were in 8th grade. I am in North California visiting her and her family until Monday Night. She had a new baby in October so I needed to meet him. Anyway so back to our night. We were going to go out for dinner and drinks at the wine bar. However we made it off base and the fog was so thick we couldn’t even see 25 feet in front of us. We turned around and went back home. We went to the food court on base and ordered Subway. Went home and drank wine. Then we arranged fruit for the big fruit shoot tomorrow and just sat around laughing. I am going to be sad to leave but Dev’s husband leaves for deployment in a couple of weeks and she and baby b are coming home for a long time. I will get to see them all the time when they come home. Although I am sad Tim has to deploy I am glad Dev and Baby B are able to come home and play while he is away.
