So I had all intentions of posting for my sister’s 40th birthday on Wednesday. In 2011 I turned 30 and my sister 96 days later turned 40. We have spent 288 days in the same decade over the last 30 years. We have had our ups and downs as all sisters do. In the last year we have worked hard on our relationship and am happy to say that we are in a really good place right now. I no longer take our relationship for granted because I know how lucky we are to have each other. I see my sister and her children on average once a month. They are currently living in VA Beach and I love that they are so close.
