Lucas loves Legos and got a bunch for Christmas. He got a big set of Atlantis. So he wanted to put it together the other day and because I love him lots and might have even lost my mind a little, I agreed to help him build it. It took us about an hour and it really wasn’t that bad.
He was so proud of it and I loved doing something special with him.
He is 7 today. I still can’t believe this is the same baby I saw everyday his first year of life on my lunch break and after work. He is a boy now, there is no sign of baby left in him and though it is bittersweet I love watching him grow up.
