I am still in Colorado and as I sit here there is 10 inches of snow on the ground outside. Huck is at school, his Papa is at work, his mom and baby brother are upstairs sleeping. Today Cole is exactly a week old. I have a few more days here in Colorado before I head home. I feel like I should pinch myself to make sure I am not dreaming and that I really am this lucky to be here. To be able watch these boys grow and be a part of their family. I am grateful for 7 am music sessions, baby kisses, yummy meals, and most of all spending time in a house full of love. These boys are going to grow so fast, but I plan to be a part of that. I told their mama yesterday as we sat in the waiting room of the Doctor’s office for Cole’s first Doctor’s visit that I sometimes have to catch my breath when I think of all of the history between her husband and I. That Mike and I have known each other our entire lives. Every milestone has been celebrated together. Â Family is amazing and to truly love to be around them is an even bigger blessing.
